All of us know the pictograms on the buttons in the cars which are visible day and night. Such pictogram captures are made by painting the transparent plastic part to black, then the required figure or text is engraved on the surface by laser. Laser vaporises the paint layer, but does not damage plastic. Thus, in the dark, a LED light placed behind the cover lights the button and the information becomes visible. Great quality dye houses rarely own precision laser engraving machines, therefore they have to find a servicing partner for such works.
